We're Not Losing God—We're Losing the Lie Part Four: In the Name of God — How Religion Became the Last Shield of the Corrupt

There was a time when "In the name of God" meant something sacred. Something gentle. Something true.

Now it's become a phrase used to justify the unjustifiable.

Bombs have dropped in the name of God. Children have been banned, silenced, and erased in the name of God. And in 2025, fascism wears a cross and calls itself salvation.

The playbook is simple:

Wrap cruelty in scripture.

Call dissent rebellion against "the divine order."

Silence critics as heretics, godless, immoral.

Convince the masses that obedience is holy.

Then ride religion all the way to the throne.

That's not faith. That's fraud.

God Is Not a Weapon. But They've Made Him One.

What we're seeing now isn't Christianity. It's Christo-fascism.

The real teachings of Jesus—love, mercy, humility, standing with the poor—have been whitewashed and weaponized. The Sermon on the Mount has been replaced with AR-15s in churches and pulpits preaching vengeance.

These modern-day Pharisees don't care about God. They care about power.

They invoke God's name to justify:

Banning books.

Erasing queer lives.

Criminalizing women's bodies.

Turning away refugees.

Imprisoning protestors.

Pardoning insurrectionists.

And when they get called out? They cry persecution.

Faith Doesn't Need a Flag. Truth Doesn't Need a Party.

They've turned "Christian" into a brand—sold through bumper stickers, campaign speeches, and Fox News chyrons.

But the Gospel doesn't need propaganda. It needs courage. It needs compassion. It needs truth-tellers, not gatekeepers.

So let me say this:

If your religion demands silence in the face of injustice, it isn't holy—it's hollow. If your God hates who you hate, votes how you vote, and never challenges your comfort—maybe your God is just your ego in a robe.

This isn't about theology. It's about spiritual abuse at a national level.

We're watching a generation walk away from faith—not because they've lost God, but because they've seen too much bullshit done in His name.

But here's the good news: God isn't lost. God isn't Republican or Democrat. God isn't behind pulpits of power. God is in the cracks. In the questions. In the resistance. In the now.

We're not losing God. We're losing the last illusion.

And when that illusion dies, maybe faith can finally breathe again.
